Courchevel
Courchevel and the rest of the enormous Les 3 Vallees ski area opens on Saturday 4th December and already there’s excellent snow coverage across the already-pisted slopes, with up to 70cm reported at altitude and 30cm in the various villages which comprise the resort. This is an excellent base for the season! Huge snow flakes continue to fall as preparations are made to welcome skiers. There’s a great atmosphere in Courchevel right now, as we ready ourselves for a very exciting winter season. Just wait until you see the village Christmas tree!

Les Gets
Indeed, there’s so much snow in Les Gets already, the resort opens early, this weekend, for a much-needed pre-season ski. Visitors to this charming Portes du Soleil village will enjoy five ski lifts and excellent conditions during the weekend of 4th and 5th December before continuous opening of the entire ski network. And, you guessed it, the forecast includes even more snow, topping up the reported 60cm on the highest runs and 30cm at resort level.
The long awaited opening of Trattoria Italiana La Bokka in Les Gets is approaching!
December is a very exciting month for our teams in Les Gets. Finally, the much-anticipated authentic
Italian trattoria La Bokka opens its doors, delivering a brand new and unique dining concept to the village. La Bokka resides within our Kinabalu residence and our chefs are already preparing the finest Italian ingredients in anticipation of our opening night on 17th December.
Next door, our Annapurna residence is home to
Vina Annapurna, a chic Bistrot dining experience with an excellent local reputation for fresh flavours and friendly service. Vina Annapurna is already open five days each week for both lunch and dinner in Les Gets, it’ll open every day throughout the winter season, commencing 20th December. Once again, we highly recommend that you reserve your dining tables for the festive period in advance.
Regular visitors to Les Gets may be familiar with
La Croix Blanche, a popular, well-located restaurant with a large, sunny terrace on the Chavannes mid station in Les Gets. Our sister company Alpine Restaurants took over this lovely restaurant earlier this year and we’ve just completed an exciting refurbishment ahead of this winter season. Val d’Isère
The Alaska Lodge residence, your cosy cocoon for your holidays!
Of course, this time of year is also thrilling for our team, as we focus on the preparations for our brand new properties. This winter, Alpine Residences arrives in Val d’Isere with the launch of two prestigious and luxurious properties.
Vail Lodge is a piste-side collection of superb holiday accommodation, varying in size from three to five bedrooms. Inside you’ll discover contemporary yet cosy interiors and large windows from which to enjoy the views.

For your safety…
Whilst we’re all anticipating an excellent winter across the French Alps, it’s worth remembering that there are a number of measures in place to keep us all safe this season. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the French government has ruled that a pass sanitaire is required to enjoy the ski lifts this winter, for both adults and children aged 12 and above. You’ll also be asked for your pass sanitaire as you enter restaurants, bars and venues across the ski resort. It will also be necessary for all skiers over the age of 11 years to wear a face mask whilst queuing for ski lifts and also in shared enclosed ski lifts too.
